Terry Cook

Terry Cook started his career as a college agent with Northwestern Mutual while attending Brigham Young University. His appreciation and understanding of the insurance industry led to over 40 years in the financial service’s corporate world. For the past 30 years he has been a Vice President in the company for the southeastern part of the United States. He recently retired from Western & Southern/Lafayette Life Insurance Company as a Senior Regional Vice President. He has qualified for numerous company and industry awards, as well as meeting or exceeding the annual quotas set for him. He received a CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) and ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) from The American College. Terry attended Brigham Young University and also received a Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University. He has extensive experience in training in all facets of personal and business types of insurance products. He has trained hundreds of advisors all over the country. Terry is the author of “Referrals Forever” and “The Mortgage and the Beast.” He has also written three novels that have been published. Terry loves educating people about sound financial principles.

Terry has been married to Anita for almost 43 years and resides in Fort Mill, South Carolina. He has three children and nine grandchildren. His favorite hobby is spending time with his grandchildren, doing almost anything. Terry loves to golf, snow ski, write, read, travel, grill, dine, and hanging out on the beautiful beaches of the Carolinas. Terry is a super fan of the Carolina Panthers, The University of North Carolina Tar Heels, and the Brigham Young University Cougars.
