Rachael Katz
Rachael Katz is an MBA-trained finance professional, student loan strategist, and founder of Key 2 Debt Free, a national financial literacy and advisory firm specializing in student loan relief, debt elimination, credit optimization, and advanced cash-flow structuring strategies.
With a professional background in finance and a mission rooted in personal experience, Rachael has become a recognized advocate for borrower education and financial empowerment. After graduating with more than $111,000 in student loan debt from a private for-profit institution later sued for misleading marketing practices, she immersed herself in the federal loan system to identify lawful pathways to relief. Her research and advocacy led to a successful approval under the federal Borrower Defense to Repayment program, resulting in a full loan discharge in 2022. Since founding Key 2 Debt Free in 2017, Rachael and her team have helped thousands of borrowers nationwide navigate the complexities of federal repayment and forgiveness programs. Her firm focuses on reducing monthly payment burdens, securing retroactive and ongoing forgiveness credit, and improving borrower financial profiles through strategic credit report optimization. Rachael is also an educator on the Infinite Banking Concept, teaching clients how to redirect cash flow previously allocated to debt into properly structured policies designed to build uninterrupted, compounding capital and long-term financial liquidity.
Through her work, Rachael has positioned herself at the intersection of student loan policy, consumer credit, and alternative wealth-building education — translating complex financial systems into actionable strategies for everyday Americans. She is widely regarded for her borrower-first advocacy approach and her commitment to helping families move from debt dependency to financial control and generational wealth planning.
